Description
Because I get asked what brushes and settings I use a lot I decided to just screenie them all. xD I use Paint Tool SAI by the way.
The only thing I didn't screenie was the Brush tool because I use it for painting and I change the settings on that one all the time.
Pen: I use this for flats and cell-shading.
Airbrush: I use this for adding shadows and highlights. Also for clouds, stars, and anything that needs to be soft.
Water: Blending~ That's all I used this for. Sometimes I will check the little transparency box next to the foreground/background color to lightly "unblend" some parts.
Marker: I sketch with this. I also use it to paint sometimes.
Eraser: I erase stuff. :I
Bucket: Flaaaaaaaaaaats. I hate doing flats.
Binary: I do all my pixels with this.
Ink Pen: I line with this. I usually line with a 6px brush. And it's probably my favorite tool in SAI. c:
I use different stabilizers but the most common are 8 and S-2. I use 8 when sketching. And I use S-2 when lining. When doing markings I usually pick somewhere between 10-14. And when I'm writing it's usually between 0-3... though it doesn't help my crap handwriting look any better. :I
